Nights and weekends, I build on-device AI apps and ship them to the App Store solo.

I run AI governance and enablement programs in regulated environments, alongside the enterprise platforms they depend on. At Medidata I lead enterprise platform programs across IT infrastructure, developer tooling, and AI enablement. The current centerpiece is moving Jira (the single system where all software development is executed) from Data Center to Cloud, alongside an expansion to Jira Product Discovery, Jira Service Management, and Confluence Cloud, paired with a full rework of how engineering, product, and operations teams work day to day. Prior to that I ran the Jira Data Center migration and cut ad-hoc support volume by 40%.

On the AI side, I piloted and rolled out GitHub Copilot across engineering, then expanded the GenAI program to 1,200+ users across non-technical functions via Gemini and NotebookLM. I chair the AI Operating Committee that consolidates AI initiatives across business units. I coordinate programs of 20–100 contributors and report bi-weekly to the SVP of R&D.

At Symbridge I led cross-functional delivery for a cloud-based crypto custody and exchange platform, coordinating engineering, compliance, legal, and operations through requirements definition, regulatory alignment, and launch. A central piece of that work was driving adoption of a hierarchical RBAC model across the platform, partnering with security and engineering on user-needs analysis and admin workflows, which reduced admin panel vulnerabilities by 30% and enabled SOC1 and SOC2 certification. I also led the transition of offshore engineering teams from Waterfall to Agile, cutting delivery cycles by 15%.

Both are Russian-language, both run entirely on the device, and both started as a problem I had myself. I don't have an engineering degree and I've never held an engineering title: the code is written together with AI coding agents, the same class of tools I govern at work. It's the AI-enablement thesis tested on myself.

How I think about governance, written down.

The same review-protocol thinking I use chairing the AI Operating Committee, applied twice: a scorecard that sizes decision process to reversibility, and a 1944 sabotage field manual read in reverse as a management checklist.

Most bad decisions aren't wrong, they're mismatched: a week of review on something you could undo in an afternoon, or an afternoon spent on something you can't undo at all. This tool takes five answers about a decision and returns the protocol it deserves: who decides, how fast, and what has to be written down. A decision you can undo cheaply should not cost a week of meetings.

Reversing the Sabotage Manual

In 1944 the OSS published a field manual teaching citizen-saboteurs how to quietly wreck an organization: insist on channels, refer everything to committees, relitigate every decision. Declassified, it reads as a catalog of everyday management dysfunction. I reversed each instruction into a working principle for running programs.
